ABOUT OUR FARM
Since 2013, Lantana Farms has been producing delicious fresh, organic only, produce out of the Imperial Valley and surrounding areas. Lead by veteran grower Ken Peterson, who has been farming the area for over 40 years, and in partnership with Tim and JP LaBrucherie who bring their own well established experience, Lantana strives to make the most of everything the great outdoors has to offer in farming.
CERTIFICATIONS
Lantana Farms is proud to be certified and audited to Primus GFS standard through the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), a collaboration between the world's leading food safety experts from retailer, manufacturer and food service companies. Their mission is to provide continuous improvement in food safety management systems to ensure confidence in the delivery of safe food to consumers.
Organic Certification is issued to those who demonstrate compliance with National Organic Program regulations (7 CFR part 205) and can substantiate their ability to maintain the integrity of their organic operation. Lantana Farms is proud to be certified and audited by Agricultural Services Certified Organic, LLC. Their mission is to provide quality, express and economical organic certification services as established by the National Organic Program that meets the individualized needs of our clients in the global market place
Established by Congress, this federal regulatory program develops and enforces uniform national standards for organically produced agricultural products sold in the United States. This seal certifies that Lantana Farms meets those standards by the USDA and Primus GFS.
The LGMA food safety program uses government audits and requires 100% compliance. The program was designed with a set of checks and balances to ensure leafy greens farmers do all they can to protect public health by establishing a culture of food safety on the farm. Lantana Farms is certified in both states we grown in, California & Arizona.
